What is and how does the "Maximum Offer" Automatic Bids feature work? >

We also take this opportunity to inform you that our auction system has a feature called "Maximum Offer" that allows you to make your bids automatically up to the amount you want without having to keep track of the closing of each lot and that works as follows:

Example: if for a lot that is currently at 2 euros and you make a maximum bid of 20 euros, the system will place a bid on top of 2 euros and will appear as the highest bid of 3 euros, then the system stores its 20 euros as the highest bid and whenever someone bids above the highest current bid (in this example 3 euros) the system will make automatic and instant bids for you up to the value of your maximum bid that was 20 euros (in this example), so and if no one else offers any bid the lot will be yours for the 3 and not for the 20 euros of your maximum bid, thus defending your interests, however if someone offers 21 euros the lot will no longer be yours but the new highest bidder who gave in this case 21 euros above 20 euros of your maximum bid.

So, we always advise users to, when they don't want to lose a lot, to use the available toolset, namely this feature, instead of waiting for the last few seconds to bid. This is because many external variables and constraints that we do not control and that can fail and consequently cause you to lose the lot you were until the end trying to bid. Since, depending on the browser and internet access you are using, the information you are viewing on your screen is not always correct, because by default computers keep some of the information cached to make access to the net faster to make sure you are viewing the information in real time you should do from time to time or F5 to compel your computer updating the information, so we recommend that when you are bidding have two windows open one to bid on to track bids and preferably use google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox as a browser and preferably not use internet Explorer.

What is the reserve value of a lot? >

The reserve amount is the minimum amount determined by the seller of a part to allow Leilão Justo authorization to sell the lot. When a batch has a reservation, the information appears on the screen. When bidding, when the buyer does not reach the reserve level, our computer system will indicate the need to bid again.

When you reach or exceed the reserve level, the reserve value indication disappears and the bidder will receive a message informing you that the piece is temporarily his (Until he has a competing bid higher than his). On our side, we always try to get our suppliers to accept a very reasonable level of booking to allow a beneficial operation for both players (seller/buyer).
